I am currently on a frantic pace open sourcing startup and policy ideas for a maximally beneficial AGI future that I’ve uncovered from a career in the trenches. I have taken a meandering path splitting interests between my engineering and business degrees as an AI startup founder, Lead Product Manager for growth stage AI/Web 3 startup, a Sr Product Manager building AI tools internally at a Fortune 50 company, Startup Advisor and blockchain advisor to the UN as Director of Blockchain for Sustainable Development (B4SD), and as a VC Analyst.

I believe the initial conditions AGI and subsequently artificial super intelligence emerge into will profoundly shape the future direction of humanity, and even that of life in our corner of the universe. We likely have just one shot to get this right.

By my nature I am a techno optimist. I have believed for 15+ years that AGI has the potential to become the greatest tool for human prosperity ever invented and will help us usher in an age of indefinitely long health spans, the uncovering of our great remaining scientific mysteries, unfathomable material prosperity, galactic exploration, and an abundance of fusion energy to power it all. At the same time, as an observer of history and evolution, it is obvious that aligning AGI to a maximally beneficial future for humanity will also be the greatest challenge we will ever face.

Core to creating this AGI future of abundance is the propagation of d/acc policies and technologies. Including differentially accelerating defensive technologies ranging from technical AI alignment to laser defense systems as well as accelerating robust democratic and decentralized infrastructure for coordination.

My current research on mitigating AI risk explores the intersection of mutually beneficial crypto economic incentive structures and emerging technologies. I support this research via my day job advising startups and business leaders about AI & Web3 product development and business model strategy leveraging the opportunities a short timeline AGI future presents. I also create and sell artwork that is a visual representation of the profoundly wonderful future in store for humanity if we can make it through, this as of yet, intractable great filter.
